Founded in 1957, this small family-oriented private club offers tennis instruction as well as competitive play. The club has seven hard tennis courts and two are lit for night play. Located in the quiet, rolling hills of Fairfax this club features seven hard courts (three lighted) and one classic, clay court. The club also has a Junior Olympic pool with lap and family swimming, heated to 82 degrees all year. The pool and tennis courts are surrounded by permanent open space. The Clubhouse has a fireplace, a satellite TV, and a kitchen. The locker rooms have shower and sauna facilities. The club was established 28 years ago and was purchased in 1999 by the Native Sons of the Golden West. The first Friday of each month is free guest day. 

For over 20 years, Dave Kregel has been single-handedly running his no-frills tennis center. The Center has four fenced courts; two are lighted for night play and a no-charge ball machine is available for practice. Kregel is director and pro, specializing in private lessons, but also providing semi-private and group lessons. The Center’s membership fees and monthly dues are decidedly the most cost-effective in Marin County.
